Deep in the snowy recesses of an arctic imagination, two creatures join forces to learn something about love. They receive a mysterious package from above, and use their homemade technology to unlock the secrets of its contents. Along the way, they encounter colorful visions and psychedelic bursts that illuminate their path. Bizarre incantations and radiant waveforms provide the soundtrack for their journey.

The six and a half minute film was shot in a New Jersey warehouse, using projected watercolor backgrounds, props made of cardboard, aluminum foil and Christmas lights, and whimsical hand-sewn costumes. Absurd electronic gadgets conjure memories of old science fiction classics. This lo-fi style plays against eye-catching animations that are interspersed throughout the film.

When collaborating, Simek and Keller operate under the name, Baby Bird. The name refers to a vocal style they developed where they join mouths like a mother bird feeding her young, and weave both harmonious and dissonant tones. Plans for Baby Bird live performances and recordings are in the works.
